Send in the Clones

The FDA gave preliminary approval Thursday to meat and milk from cloned animals or their offspring. Federal scientists found virtually no difference between food from clones and food from conventional livestock. [read the article]
I don’t think so guys. As for me and my house, we will not eat cloned meat. The people have tinkered with the food chain too long and this time, they have gone too far. I am satisfied with what Yahweh made and the way He made it. Every time man tries to improve on what Yahweh has done, someone gets hurt. I don’t want it to be me.

I normally hear from him. I haven’t heard from him all day and there is nothing in the news to explain the silence.
It’s hard being the father of a Marine.

Christmas - The Three in One Plus One
Posted by Rod on
December 24, 2006
Millions of Christians around the world are celebrating Christmas. Considering the event with all of its history and trappings, I have come to understand it as a three in one plus one holiday. Lest you jump to the conclusion that the three in one references the trinity just because Christians have copyrighted the term, Christmas is not worthy of such debate. It is a three in one holiday because it is first a pagan holiday, second, a retail holiday and third, an adopted Christian holiday.
We all know that Constantine instituted Christmas when he merged Christianity with paganism and the Christians of the day complied because they wanted to distance themselves from the persecuted Jews. If you want more information on that, search the Internet because I’d rather not rant about that in this message.
Second, Christmas is a retail holiday. Retailers scheme and plan for this day more than any other in the year because it will fill their coffers. It will make or break many businesses. It will determine the size of the CEO’s bonus. Money, money, money makes the world go ’round and Santa and Hallmark churn the masses into a buying frenzy.

Had a weird thing happen today. Got a twirling sparkly in my right eye that kept going and going. I finally got up and took and aspirin and it went away. Weird.
