It Bee Bad in Taiwan

The U.S. isn’t the only one experiencing Colony Collapse Disorder. Bees are also disappearing in Taiwan.

TAIPEI (Reuters) - Taiwan’s bee farmers are feeling the sting of lost business and possible crop danger after millions of the honey-making, plant-pollinating insects vanished during volatile weather, media and experts said on Thursday.

Over the past two months, farmers in three parts of Taiwan have reported most of their bees gone, the Chinese-language United Daily News reported. Taiwan’s TVBS television station said about 10 million bees had vanished in Taiwan.

A beekeeper on Taiwan’s northeastern coast reported 6 million insects missing “for no reason”, and one in the south said 80 of his 200 bee boxes had been emptied, the paper said.

This not a good thing boys and girls. We need the bees and from the looks of things, we are running them off. We ought not to be tinkering with the food supply. Genetically modified food just might be disrupting the natural order.

Mankind deserves what it gets.

Thought Police Invade Boulder University

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - A University of Colorado student was arrested after making comments that classmates deemed sympathetic toward the gunman blamed for killing 32 students and himself at Virginia Tech, authorities said. During a class discussion of Monday’s massacre at Virginia Tech, the student “made comments about understanding how someone could kill 32 people,” university police Cmdr. Brad Wiesley said.Several witnesses told investigators the student said he was “angry about all kinds of things from the fluorescent light bulbs to the unpainted walls, and it made him angry enough to kill people,” according to a police report. Witnesses “said they were afraid of him and afraid to come to class with him,” Wiesley said.

The student, identified by police as Max Karson of Denver, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of interfering with staff, faculty or students of an education institution. He had a court appearance set for Wednesday afternoon.

This really happened!
Personally, I think Cho was disturbed, but when a person can be arrested for giving his or her opinion, this country has gone too far.  I’ll fight for your right to freedom of speech, but we are surround by the enemy and they carry guns…and don’t want you to have one.

They’re coming after you next.

Not a child anymore

My son is getting married today.

Happy-lew-yah! :-)

He’s not a child anymore, but then again, he hasn’t been for quite some time. Someday, his mother will come to that realization.

Yes, he’ll always be our son, but today, he’ll be someone’s husband and eventually, he’ll also be someone’s daddy.

The Unhindered Mind

I awoke this morning with an idea for a new invention.

The perfect toothbrush.

Don’t laugh.  the design is revolutionary and you’d buy them by the handful.

Now, all I need is for someone to buy the idea and market them.

You think I’m kidding?

Give it a Spin~
